Elevation Advanced Artist Grant

The Elevation Advanced Artist Grant offers financial support for 10 individual artists with 7 plus years of career experience, seeking to continue education, training, and/or career in the visual and performing arts Awards are based on artistic merit, evidence of commitment to a career in the arts, and financial need.  The Elevation Advanced Artist grant focuses on support for artists with long term careers in the Arts.  Jersey City Arts Council wants to ensure support for artists throughout their careers. 

GRANT DEADLINE:  FEBRUARY 2, 2024
GRANT NOTIFICATION: FEBRUARY 16, 2024

Eligibility
This grant is for visual and performance artists with more than 7 years of artistic career experience.  (Documentation may be required).

Applicants must have a home address in Jersey City.

Grantees will be required to submit reports of their progress and usage at the end of the grant period.

Use of Grant
A grant of $2000, which can be put towards artistic training and growth, including but not limited to: educational programs, materials, self-education, studio space, lessons, projects, exhibitions etc. 

The grant period runs for 4 months (starting in February 2024).

Grant Panelists
The Elevation Advanced Artist Grant will be selected by the JCAC Board of Directors.
