Riverview Jazz “Swings into Spring” with fundraiser for Jersey City Jazz Festival

One of Jersey City’s most beloved events the Jersey City Jazz Festival will be back for its ninth year, June 4-5, 2022. To support the festival, Riverview Jazz, the local non-profit that produces the event, is hosting its annual fundraiser Tuesday, March 22nd at Corgi Distillery. The “Swing into Spring” party will feature live music by the Kate Curran Quartet, signature cocktails from Corgi, lite bites from Hamilton Restaurant, a silent auction, and more. The event will also be captured with live painting by Martin Hardy. All proceeds will go directly to the funding of the 2022 Jersey City Jazz Festival.

“It’s so exciting to be back in the swing of things again, seeing the audiences, hearing the musicians, just totally energizing!” says Riverview Jazz executive director Bryan Beninghove. “Each year the festival seems to get better and better, and we owe that to the amazing depth of talent in the area and the generosity of our sponsors and supporters. It is incredibly rewarding to present an amazing array of world-class performers to the community in a super fun and relaxed party environment - and it’s free!”

The ninth annual Jersey City Jazz Festival will be held June 4-5 and will be presented by Exchange Place Alliance. The event will feature two stages, a VIP experience, beer garden, food trucks, and more. Longtime festival supporter Bank of America is back again, as is partner Jersey City Office of Cultural Affairs. The festival is free to attend, with just a suggested donation.
