“Equinox” Curated by Dorie Dahlberg

Curator’s Statement: On September 22, 2022 at 9:03PM the sun will hover over the equator and cut our earth into two equal halves. There will be 12 hours of daylight & 12 hours of night making light and time equal. Before we slowly turn toward the darker days of an approaching winter, let’s focus on the balance of these two forces even if it’s for only one day.

The artwork selected for this exhibition expresses balance, compositional symmetry, equilibrium, equality, statis. All exhibitors are members of Pro Arts Jersey City.

About the curator: Dorie Dahlberg received a BFA from Rutgers University, with a drawing/printmaking concentration.
